“Our plan is working well. Timely. It won’t be long now.”
“They are beginning to worship us. They wear chains around their necks with our likeness as a pendant. Bracelets, as well. They love us. They think we are like them. I find that quite amusing.”
“Indeed. When we cage them so that our people, and all other sea creatures, can come and watch them perform tricks at our command, they will begin to understand.”
“Yes. Too late. I relish the moment that understanding begins to dawn. They won’t think so highly of us then.”
That’s a real “so long and thanks for all the fish” story

The revolt of the dolphins, they are smart enough, if they just got themselves together!

In my imagination, I was seeing scenes similar to Disney’s “Under the Sea.”

We often treat animals as commodities. Time to change that and let them be the wild creatures they are.

Cages are wrong, but it has taken us too long to realise it.

Truly. I have a son-in-law who grew up in Kenya, seeing animals in their natural habitat. He hates zoos. Can’t say I blame him.

Bravo, Linda! I wait for that day as well. I will happily do tricks for the sea creatures if it means they can be free.

I just hope they won’t want me to eat raw fish 🙂

Dear Linda,
They’d make better leaders than some we have now. 😉 Bring on the raw fish and a side of wasabi. Nicely done.

I’ve got to say, if anyone is capable of enslaving the human race, I think dolphins probably fit the bill. Lovely story.

I just can’t help thinking that their lack of opposable thumbs – actually limbs – might make their domination difficult. 🙂

I agree, such wonderful creatures should always be free and safe in their own habitat.

I’d much rather watch them displaying themselves in the ocean than at Marine Land!

Great story. I’d like to believe dolphins better than us… Although some of their mating behavior is foul. You might be onto something.

I don’t know a single thing about their mating behavior. Maybe I’m better off that way 🙂

Ah! The sinister dolphin. Pet them at our peril. Nice one.

I enjoyed the way the dolphins turned the tables.
Zoo and other forms of animal cruelty are just plain wrong.
Sad but right on target story, Linda. Be Safe …

Planet Of The Dolphins. Nature will have its revenge on us in some form. We already have hurricanes and disease. It’s only a matter of time before the animals start fighting back.
