The Box Factory

“Ugh!  More snow,” complained Zing.  “And this snow is cold and  dirty.  Antiquated fuels, I suppose.”

Zang  agreed, but he was focused on something else. “Is this a factory for making boxes?”

They watched as mostly young men came and went. Some had very large gloves hanging over their shoulders, and they pushed and shoved at each other, laughing and joking, even punching each other’s arms.

“Why do they need such big gloves?  How can you make boxes if you can’t use your digits?”

“I don’t understand. What a strange place.”

“I saw the little girl again. She’s tracking us.”

Love your characters and the wonderful dialogue. Really liked ‘Antiquated fuel’ .🙂🙂🙂
Look forward to reading their next story and if and how they interact with or learn from a human .

This is fun, Linda. I can easily picture the comings and goings of the boxers. Zing And Zang will be studying humans for a long time, methinks.
    Ooh… and Penny has reappeared!

  3. First of all, let me say I love the bright heading on your blog to welcome March. The lovely flowers and rebirth of spring always puts me in a good mood.

Zing and Zang are such loveable characters. I love their on-going saga.

Lovely conversation. I think they need to investigate further, but with them being followed they have other concerns. The fun of this is made more edgy by that last observation.

    1. Gold star for you 🙂 You are the only one who brought to my attention that I failed to put the quotes in place to finish that paragraph. Just fixed it 🙂

This is one of a continuing series of Zing and Zang stories. The little girls, Peony, showed up a few weeks back. You can find all the stories under “Categories”—Zing and Zang stories.
