The Stat Connection

Go to your Stats page and check your top 3-5 posts. Why do you think they’ve been successful? Find the connection between them, and write about it.

Well, how interesting.  People want to know who the person is behind the writing.  I do that, too.  If someone particularly appeals to me, I go to their “about” page and ge acquainted.
The Goodbye post is here.  I just went back and read it again.  The only thing I can think is that it appeals to a common experience that is universal.  Life comes with gains and losses.  You don’t want to avoid the gains in order to avoid the losses.
And finally, Bad Hair Day.  It was a prompt that sent me off into storyland, and I had fun with it.  All women can relate to Cecie, in the story. Older women remember the bobbie pins, hot rollers, teasing; the flip, the big hair, the pancake, blue eye shadow, white lipstick.
Boy, we’ve been through some weird fashion trends!  So glad things are easier today. No fuss, just wash, scrunch with mousse, dry, brush out and go.  What a change!  Makeup is easier, too, and more natural-looking.
