You’re asked to recite a poem (or song lyrics) from memory — what’s the first one that comes to mind? Does it have a special meaning, or is there another reason it has stayed, intact, in your mind?

You won’t believe this, but here’s the first thing that entered my head:

Please don’t ask me why.  I have no idea whatsoever.

      1. Our school children used to sing a variation of this:
Peanut sitting on a railroad track, heart all aflutter
along came a freight train rolling down the track
        Toot! Toot! Peanut Butter.
The School Board dozed up a snow mountain the children played on. Several together would be the train and one child be the “peanut” standing partway down. They’d come sliding down and topple the “peanut,” who had to be pretty adept at a rolling landing.

So that’s how they make peanut butter! Never heard of this song, but there’s no going back now, every time I’m going to eat peanut butter, I’m going to choo choo around the house!
