My comment was: I love history, and this post was a moving addition to my store of knowledge.
suzjones is doing a fascinating journey through the alphabet, kicking off each post with something that starts with the letter for that day. The post I commented on was “U is for Unite,” and was an explanation of the unity of Australia and New Zealand during World War ll, which has resulted in their national ANZAC Day. ANZAC stand for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.

Learned more about this day. I taught my 6th graders a bit about ANZAC day when I taught Australia And New Zealand geography.
